Sometimes it's just so right!
Here are some stories from the FlirtySomething files to remind us of those pristine moments when everything changes, and you connect and suddenly, right before you, is someone who is so right.

I met him online two years ago, my perfect match…but alas, I wasn’t his. So we became “friends.”
Thinking of him had rendered me useless. I attempted to convince myself that his flaws were numerous and annoying, but despite whatever I conjured or whatever was true, I still liked him. Recently, I decided to force him to tell me there was no hope of anything happening between us …
I called him and invited him over with the excuse to chow down on pizza with me, but he knew something was up as he watched me obsessively pick up the trash in my house and do the dishes. Looking him in the eye, I hesitated for a moment and then finally said, “I like you – again. I need you to tell me there’s no hope.”
But, in those seconds before he spoke, I wanted to take it all back. I closed my eyes and sucked in my breath.
“Come here,” he commanded and stood up. I hesitantly stood up, expecting him to hug me and tell me that I would find someone someday.
But no…he grabbed my hands with his hands, leaned down, and kissed me.
There are some things I forget quite easily – the name of an acquaintance, the date of my last oil change, my car keys. But I will never forget the day he showed me that hope never has to die.
