Situation: You meet a guy or gal online, offline, in line…wherever. You make and keep a date with that person. In its aftermath, you wonder how they felt about the date, and you’d like to let them know what you’re thinking too. For better or worse, it’s only human to reflect and to want to […]

Well, that’s not exactly true! The economy may be in the crapper, but according to this recent L.A. Times story, online dating is one of the few industries that’s thriving.
That’s good news, for sure, and at FlirtySomething, we’re not entirely surprised. We think 2009 is going to be a great year for love, and a […]

Okay, it’s been a while since I’ve posted. The truth is that I do not like blogging. I don’t like reading most blogs, nor writing blog posts, nor the word “blog” itself. Ugh! Blog! Blood! Barf! Fart!…You get the picture.

“The niche with no name” is apt in its refusal to stereotype, label, categorize, ghettoize or in any way demean the FlirtySomething user. To do so would inevitably fall short in defining the FlirtySomething demographic:
1. You’re smart.
2. You have something to say.
3. You’re single, of course.
4. […]

An interesting little article for those of you who are deliberating about entering the online dating arena. The big takeaway for me is that of those who have tried online dating, 42% of Americans polled (admittedly, it was a small sample) met their life partner or spouse. Them’s pretty good odds, doncha think?
